Happy Valley Road Embankment Repair
The work to be done generally consists of repair and restoration of a 250 foot stretch of northbound Happy Valley Road, approximately 0.2 mile southeast of the intersection of Happy Valley Road and Bear Creek Road. The work will reconstruct the northbound lane and restore two-way traffic to this portion of Happy Valley Road. The work includes installing an approximately 68 foot long soldier pile retaining wall with necessary safety railing and barrier on the east side of the roadway to support the reconstructed roadway and repairing settled roadway affected by the eroded embankment with structural backfill and asphalt surface. Drainage improvements will also be installed.
