General work description: The work to be done generally consists of placing two types of surface treatments on various roads in Kensington area: a type II fiberized slurry seal, or cold plane and overlay with hot mix asphalt (HMA), and cold plane and overlay on Clark Road in El Sobrante. Work will involve surface preparation, including weed spray, crack sealing, pavement failure repair, edge grinding, removal of existing thermoplastic stripes and pavement markings, removal of existing curb and sidewalk, and placing concrete curb ramps in compliance with the American with Disabilities Act, setting survey monuments, and placement of thermoplastic striping and pavement markings.

General work description: A contract to provide trucking services consisting of trucks and operators for the transportation of aggregate from the quarry to various stockpile locations throughout the County, and also for the transportation of the chip seal aggregate from the stockpile locations to various roads throughout the County.

The Capital Projects Management Division, Public Works Department, is requesting Statements of Qualifications from Design-Build Entities (DBE) interested in providing Progressive Design-Build services for the subject project.

General work description: The work to be done generally consists of installing 14 curb ramps at selected intersections along Shawn Drive in the Tara Hills residential area. Work near the intersection of Shawn Drive and Delmore Road will also include installation of one raised speed table, and two (2) rectangular rapid flashing beacons. Ancillary improvements include removal and replacement of existing concrete valley gutter and asphalt concrete, and removal and installation of thermoplastic pavement markings.

General work description: The work to be done generally consists of removing 94 existing trash capture basket and crescent type devices and 9 connector pipe screens (CPS), installing 63 CPS, and 8 automatic retractable screens (ARS) and installing 2 deflector screens at four sites located in the unincorporated area of North Richmond, San Pablo, El Sobrante, Montalvin, Rodeo, Crockett, Pacheco, and Bay Point. Project will work on 115 catch basins in total, and includes cleaning debris from catch basins, and preparing a photo inventory of each installation.

Contra Costa County (County) is seeking qualified consultants to provide geotechnical engineering services for County projects. All qualified, interested firms are invited to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ).

General work description: The project generally consists of preventative maintenance on the Pleasant Hill Road Bridge over Taylor Boulevard. Work to be done includes but is not limited to placing a polyester concrete overlay on the bridge deck, adding limited slope paving under the bridge, patching spalls on the bridge girders, patching spalls on various bridge substructure locations, replacing approach guardrails, pavement replacement, slurry sealing, and approach roadway striping.
